Privacy policy
Last updated: draft, 20 October 2026
DRAFT for Rivah to check (2026-10-20). Anything marked [CONFIRM] needs an answer before launch. Written in plain English from common Australian small-business terms; it isn't legal advice, so have a lawyer look over it.
1. Who we are
SL Digital (ABN [CONFIRM]) is a marketing and growth agency based on the Gold Coast, Queensland. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean SL Digital.
We follow the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
2. What we collect
When you contact us or book a call: your name, business name, phone number, email address and anything you tell us in your message.
When you become a client: the details we need to do the work and invoice you, such as billing details, and access to accounts you give us, like ad accounts, your website or your CRM.
When you use this website: basic technical information such as your browser, device and the pages you visit. [CONFIRM: list the analytics or ad tracking tools on the site at launch, for example Google Analytics or the Meta Pixel, or say there are none.]
We only collect what we need. You can contact us without giving your real name, but we may not be able to help as much.
3. How we use it
To reply to you, set up a call and give you a quote.
To do the work you've engaged us for, report on it and invoice for it.
To improve this website and how we advertise it.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't rent it to anyone.
4. Who we share it with
Only the service providers we use to run the business, and only what they need: for example email, hosting, our CRM, accounting software and the ad platforms we run campaigns on. [CONFIRM: list the main ones.]
Some of these providers store data outside Australia, including in the United States. We choose providers with proper security and privacy practices.
We'll also share information if the law requires us to.
5. Cookies and tracking
Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. [CONFIRM: whether the site sets any cookies at launch and what for.] You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
6. Marketing messages
We'll only send you marketing emails or texts if you've agreed to them. Every one has a way to unsubscribe, and we'll stop when you ask.
7. Keeping it safe
We keep personal information in secure, password-protected systems and limit who can see it. When we no longer need it, we delete it or remove anything that identifies you, unless the law says we have to keep it.
8. Seeing or correcting your information
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to fix it. Email admin@sldigital.com.au and we'll reply within 30 days.
9. Complaints
If you think we've mishandled your information, email admin@sldigital.com.au or call 0401 036 896. We'll look into it and reply within 30 days.
If you're not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
10. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
